Noah's Ark, a masterpiece for Mediterranea Saving Humans
Noah's Ark by Zehra Doğan depicts the shock and dismay of a shipwreck in a stormy night at sea and symbolizes the hope for rescue of migrants’ vessels traveling on Mediterranean waters.
Zehra Doğan, Kurdish artist, journalist and activist, unjustly imprisoned for almost three years in Turkey, has donated her painting to Mediterranea Saving Humans in July 2019.
We thank Zehra for this beautiful gift, for her resistance during the years of prison, and for her testimony and strenuous fight for freedom.
